Changelog

Every change to the codeAmani tech stack — guides, conventions, dashboard, and tooling. Newest first. One ## YYYY-MM-DD heading per day, grouped as Added / Changed / Fixed / Removed.

Rules for adding entries live in CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md under Maintaining these instructions & the changelog. Entries before 2026-09-27 were reconstructed from git history; earlier months are summarised rather than listed commit by commit.

2026-09-27

Added

  • AGENTS.md at the repo root — the codeAmani conventions for Grok Build, Cursor, Codex, and other agents that read AGENTS.md, plus repo gates and Grok Build notes (worktree subagents, Arena Mode).
  • scripts/sync-conventions.mjs (npm run sync:conventions / npm run check:conventions) — copies the sync:NAME convention blocks from CLAUDE.md into AGENTS.md; --check fails on drift.
  • conventions GitHub Actions workflow — runs the sync check on every change to either file.
  • CHANGELOG.md (this file) and a /changelog page on the dashboard that renders it.
  • Cursor guide: full Cursor TypeScript SDK (@cursor/sdk) section — local vs cloud runtimes, auth and key types, streaming quick start, cloud agents that open PRs, headless guardrails, custom tools, MCP/subagents, errors, and known limitations. New SDK card in the Cursor learn module.

Changed

  • Guide titles are now vendor-neutral: 16 guides dropped "+ Claude Code" from their title and H1 (anthropic, clerk, cloudflare, context7, daraja-api, figma, hugging-face, neon, netlify, notion, open-ai, porkbun, render, sentry, supabase, vercel). GROK_BUILD docs and plugin skills regenerated.
  • CLAUDE.md gains a Maintaining these instructions & the changelog rule (synced to AGENTS.md), and its shared sections are now fenced by sync:NAME markers.

  • JS-free reader view (/read, /read/<tech>, /read/all) so NotebookLM can ingest guides by URL.

  • GROK_BUILD.md procedure docs brought to master for every tech folder (generated by scripts/generate-grok-build.mjs; Stripe hand-authored).

Fixed

  • All 96 Dependabot alerts cleared across the three lockfiles.
  • Indexer skips node_modules (index run drops from 8+ minutes to ~2 seconds).

  • Added: CodeRabbit, Hazina MCP, Anonymity, and Google Antigravity guides, plus 11 more tech guides in one batch.
  • Changed: ~60 guides refreshed against current docs in five batches (2026-08-23); Anthropic, Docker, and Together AI guides refreshed; Stripe guide rewritten for Accounts v2; fleet-standard README.
  • Fixed: /check-updates resolves the canonical repo root via CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT; live freshness pipeline; Context7 tool name and thumbnail model in the Stripe guide.

2026-07

  • Added: xAI guide; Gemini developer portal at /portal/gemini, the PORTAL_LINKS registry, and portal launch banners on guide pages; seven more published tech folders (auth0, aws, mongodb, plausible, sendgrid, supply-chain, twilio).
  • Changed: google-ai-studio learn module refreshed to the July 2026 audit.
  • Fixed: portal hides mobile chrome; a11y labels and timer cleanup; Google Fonts @import ordering.

  • Added: liquid-glass learning platform with mermaid diagrams on every guide (zoom, pan, fullscreen, motion layer); remote MCP connector (/api/mcp) and local stdio MCP server; per-tech "Standard set" folders and the generated file index (INDEX.md, _FILES.md); internal-builds folders (R&D, libraries, skill-library, tools, browser-plugins); codeAmani-labs-projects app skeletons; live Lighthouse dashboard; ANSI wordmark headers. Guides for Raspberry Pi, Blockchain, claude-skills, encryption, PWA, geolocation, caching, remote-access, ai-video, Together AI, Cloudflare R2, Firecrawl, WSL, SEO, AI Agents, Webhooks, Docker, Meta for Developers, and Reddit.
  • Changed: positioning corrected to US-based with Stripe as the default rail (M-Pesa only for Kenya-targeted projects); Hugging Face, GitHub, Google Cloud, and Chrome DevTools guides expanded into courses.
  • Fixed: mermaid label rendering and iOS fullscreen; missing lib/pwa.ts broke a production build; Lighthouse SSRF guard on server-side audit URLs.
  • Also built in this repo during June: Porkbun unified mail, the Hazina secrets vault, and the Support & Donation portal (see their own packages/docs).

2026-05

  • Added: the knowledge system itself — freshness checker and frontmatter schema, generated Claude Code plugin, Next.js dashboard (snapshot data, basic auth, read-only prod), Gemini-generated thumbnails, Insight callouts, and learn modules (Tier-1 playgrounds plus the Tier-2 LearnLite pattern across every guide); /add-tech command. Guides for Google AI Studio, Canva, Upstash, Vercel AI SDK, Africa's Talking, Infisical, WhatsApp Business API, Pinecone, pgvector, Domain Portfolio, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Learn.
  • Fixed: Vercel monorepo tracing from the repo root; mobile overflow in the Cloudflare learn module.
